Senator Buruji Kashamu is dead.

NewsOne Nigeria understands that Senator Buruji Kashamu died of Coronavirus.

Before his death, Buruji Kashamu was the immediate past senator representing Ogun East at the Nigerian Senate.

Buruji, who represented the senatorial district in the 8th National Assembly, was 62 years old.

Senator Buruji Kashamu died today, Saturday, August 8, 2020, at First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.

Senator Buruji Kashamu death was confirmed in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Saturday by Senator Ben Bruce.
