A video has emerged on social media, suggesting that Aisha Buhari, Nigeria’s First Lady, and wife to President Muhammadu Buhari was prevented from entering a section of the Aso Rock, the nation’s Presidential Villa by soldiers.

YaahooJournalist reports that the video was published by Jackson Ude, a Communications Professional and former Director of Strategy and Communication under former President Goodluck Jonathan on the micro-blogging site, Twitter in the wee hours of Friday, October 11.

In the video, the First Lady could be heard saying that over 200 soldiers and 200 policemen are holding her hostage.

Speaking in Hausa, Aisha Buhari said,

“What have I done that you locked me inside? Come and open the door.”

She switched to the English language, saying: “This is the Villa, we have over 200 soldiers guarding us, over 200 policemen guarding us, why do you have to remove this door? What for?” The furious Aisha Buhari questioned.
