Super Eagles Captain, Troost-Ekong, has announced his international retirement weeks to AFCON 2025.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, William Troost-Ekong, has announced his international retirement.
Troost-Ekong posted a video on social media on Thursday, and tagged it: “Honoured. Grateful. Forever a Super Eagles.
“Playing for Nigeria has been the greatest privilege of my life.
“The journey may end here, but my support never will.
“Here’s to the next chapter”.

Meanwhile, Newsone reports that Troost-Ekong‘s decision to retire from international football comes a few weeks before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Morocco
