The Supreme Court has sacked APC Governorship Candidate.

Newsone reports that the Supreme Court of Nigeria has nullified the nomination of Emmanuel Bwacha as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, northern Nigeria.

A five-member panel led by Kudirat Kekere-Ekun delivered judgment on the sacking of the APC Governorship Candidate on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

The justices affirmed the verdict of the Federal High Court which held that the APC did not conduct a valid governorship primary.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the Federal High Court in Jalingo, the State capital, gave the ruling on September 20, 2022.
