BREAKING: Suspected Suicide Bomber Killed As Explosion Rocks Abuja [Video]

An explosion has occurred in Abuja, killing a suicide bomber in the process.

Newsone Nigeria reports that an explosive device suspected to be a bomb killed one person and injured another in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, on Monday, May 26, 2025.

A report monitored on AIT said an eyewitness – a military personnel who did not give his name – said the man, believed to be a suicide bomber, was killed by an explosive contained in a rubber can close to Mogadishu Barrack in Abuja.

However, military authorities present at the scene said the situation could be an explosion from a phone device and not an IED.

At the time of this report, military, DSS, police, and NEMA officers are still taking inventory of the situation.
