Peter Diah, the Speaker of Taraba state House of Assembly, has resigned his position.

YaahooJournalist reports that the Taraba speaker confirmed his resignation while addressing journalists on Sunday night, December 1.

Diah who told Journalists that he resigned his position on personal reasons, declined to give more details on circumstances surrounding his resignation.

The Taraba speaker said he would speak to the press Monday, December 2.
