Tribunal Sets Date To Deliver Final Judgment On Kano Election

Wednesday, October 2 has been fixed by the Kano State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal to deliver the final judgment on Kano governorship election.

YaahooJournalist reports that the judgment will be coming after Abba Yusuf, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), filed a petition challenging the declaration of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje as the winner of the March 9 governorship election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Governor Ganduje, who was the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on the other hand, in his counter-reaction, sought tribunal to dismiss the PDP’s petition claiming won the governorship election in the state.

YaahooJournalist reports that the date set for the final judgment was communicated to parties through the secretary of the tribunal.

The final judgment will be coming after the Tribunal had on Wednesday, September 18, reserved judgment in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its gubernatorial candidate, Abba Kabir-Yusuf.

YaahooJournalist gathered that the tribunal communicated to the parties on the fixed date for the Kano Election judgment on Monday, September 30.
