I think of Chadwick Boseman dying on Jackie Robinson Day & how he played Robinson & how pro athletes are now striking to draw attention to police brutality & it is stunning & sad that athletes & artists are so often needed to fill the moral & leadership void left by our pols.

It feels meaningful that we lost Chadwick Boseman on the same day as Emmet Till’s death is 1955 and MLK’s “I Have a Dream” speech in 1963.
