Chamberlain Usoh Emerges Channels TV Abuja Editor/Station Manager
Chamberlain Usoh has emerged as Channels TV Abuja Editor/Station Manager.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Chamberlain, who was formerly the Deputy Editor/Ag. Station Manager Abuja was promoted to the new role as the Editor/Station Manager of Channels TV Abuja and Northern Nigeria alongside eight others with effect from January 1, 2024.
Others promoted include: Kingsley Uranta was promoted to General Manager Channels Academy. Ambrose Okoh was promoted to General Manager, News and Current Affairs. Patrick Obuseh was promoted to General Manager of Operations.
Adeola Olumeyan was elevated to General Counsel, Foluso Oluwafemi – was promoted to Assistant General Manager, Human Resources, Louis Eke – was promoted to Controller of News, Aderonke Raji – was promoted to Controller News, and Adejoke Rogers – was promoted to Assistant Controller of News
Chamberlain Usoh is a Mass Communication Professional with Public Policy bias from the University of Lagos and Leadership Institute, Arlington, Virginia, U.S.A. He also has a Diploma in Convergence & Multi-Media skills from Thompson Reuters Foundation in Wales, United Kingdom.
He describes himself as a credible, results-oriented, natural forward-planner with a clear focus on high quality.
With over 20 years of experience, Chamberlain has worked through various fields of endeavour as his profession has taken him to different parts of the globe operating in different capacities at DBN TV; ITN News Channel 4, London; and Liberation Chambers, Lagos amongst others.
He is a recipient of many awards, including:
- Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA) TV Programme Presenter of the Year
- NBA, Media Merit Award for Excellence in Programme Presentation
- S.E.S Male TV Personality of the Year 2011
- Junior Chamber International, Media Award as Male TV Personality of the Year 2011
- In his Youth Service days, he even got an NYSC Certificate of Commendation
Chamberlain was President of his Dept. and Class Governor, Student Union Executive in his Tertiary institution.
In his spare time, he loves playing Squash, Tennis and football.
