#ClubWoldCupfinal: Kai Havertz Shines As Chelsea Win Club World Cup [Video]
Chelsea have won the Club World Cup for the first time in their history.
Newsone reports that the Blues have become the third English side to win the global tournament after Manchester United and Liverpool.
This online news platform understands that Champions League final hero, Kai Havertz scored a penalty deep into extra time as Chelsea defeated Brazil’s Palmeiras 2-1 in the football Club World Cup final on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
Belgian Romelu Lukaku’s superb header gave the European champions the lead on 54 minutes but Raphael Veiga levelled from the spot for the Copa Libertadores winners just past the hour in Abu Dhabi.
He took the ball like he’s going to take the pen. The Palmeiras’ players tried to get in his head so he can miss it. He absorbed all the pressure then give it to Kai Havertz to reduce the pressure for him.

“It’s amazing. After champions of Europe, we are now champions of the world. It sounds better,” Havertz told Channel 4.
“I was nervous [taking the penalty], I have to be honest. It’s a big penalty. It’s just crazy. It was good I kept the nerves. I am very happy. I dreamed always as a kid of this. This is an amazing feeling for me.”
