NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday evening, 6th September 2020, confirmed 100 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 55,005 which includes 43,013 discharged cases and 1,057 deaths.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Kaduna State, northern Nigeria.
