Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 131 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

NCDC has confirmed 131 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday evening, 17th September 2020, confirmed 131 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.

The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 56,735 which includes 48,092 discharged cases and 1,093 deaths.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with the Lagos recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Kaduna and Plateau State, northern Nigeria.
