Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 155 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

NCDC has confirmed 155 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday evening, 7th September 2020, confirmed 155 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.


The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.


NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 55,160 which includes 43,231 discharged cases and 1,061 deaths.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Plateau and Rivers State, south-south Nigeria.
