NCDC has confirmed 156 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday evening, 4th September 2020, confirmed 156 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 54,743 which includes 42,816 discharged cases and 1,051 deaths.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Oyo State, southwest Nigeria.
