NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday evening, 13th September 2020, confirmed 79 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 56,256 which includes 44,152 discharged cases and 1,082 deaths.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Kaduna and Ogun State, southwest Nigeria.
