The exchange rate between the Naira and the US dollar according to the data released on the FMDQ Security Exchange the official forex trading portal showed that the Naira opened at ₦460.4813 per dollar on Friday, 3 March 2023, and closed at ₦460.0842 per $1 on Thursday, 2 March 2023.
What Is The Black Market Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate For Today?
The local currency opened at N756.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market today Friday, 3 March 2023, in Lagos Nigeria, after it closed at N757 per $1 on Thursday, 2 March 2023.
NEWS ONENIGERIA reports that in the black market, the players buy a dollar for N753 and sell for N756 on Friday, 3 March 2023, after they purchased N754 and sold for N757 on Thursday, 2 March 2023.

Even though the dollar opened in the parallel market for ₦756 per $1, the CBN does not recognise the parallel market, otherwise known as the black market. The apex bank has therefore directed anyone who requires forex to approach their bank, insisting that the I&E window is the only known exchange.
“The only exchange rate remains the I&E window, which is the market we expect everybody who wishes to procure or sell forex to get it,” said the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
“I am sorry to say that I do not, and I do not intend to recognise any FX in the market.
Meanwhile, NEWS ONENIGERIA reports that the USD started this week at ₦765 in Parallel Market also known as Black Market on Monday, February 27, 2023, in Lagos Nigeria, after it opened at ₦770 last week Monday, February 20, 2023.
