The exchange rate between the Naira and the US dollar according to the data posted on the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded showed that the naira opened at 433.6007 NGN per dollar on, 27 October 2022, after it closed at N434.6719 the previous day, 26 October 2022. This represents a change of 1.07%.

NEWS-ONE NIGERIA reports that in the black market, the players buy a dollar for N763 and sell for N765 on Thursday, 27 October 2022, after they purchased N763 and sold for N765 on Wednesday, 26 October 2022.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the USD started this week at ₦760 in Parallel Market also known as Black Market on Monday, October 24, 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, after it opened at  ₦745 last week Monday, October 17, 2022.
