DSS has spoken on arresting Senator Abaribe.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Department of State Security Services (DSS) has called on the general public to disregard reports that Enyinnaya Abaribe, an Abia senator, has been arrested by the agency.

This online news platform recalls that a report went viral on social media on Wednesday, that Senator Abaribe was arrested for wearing a t-shirt with the inscription, ‘dot nation’.

Another report alleged that the controversial senator was arrested in Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital during a function.

However, Newsone understands that the DSS in response to inquiries made by POLITICS NIGERIA on Thursday, disclosed that no such thing ever happened.
