Newsone Nigeria reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Nigeria’s electoral umpire, has announced results from 13 Local Government Areas in the ongoing governorship election in Edo State, southern Nigeria, so far from the 18 13 Local Government Areas.

The breakdown of Edo 2024 Election Results announced so far by INEC, shows that the All Progressives Congress (APC), is currently leading with about 180,369 votes followed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which has garnered 160,333 votes.

On the other hand, the Labour Party (LP), is coming a distant third with 10,247 votes from the Edo 2024 Election Results from LGAs announced by INEC.

The collation of the Edo 2024 Election results is ongoing as the Electoral Commission is expected to announce results from five more local government areas.
