BREAKING: President Buhari Jets Out To London Hospital For Treatment

FG has declared a Nigerian state a no-fly-zone, banning Mining activities also.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has declared Zamfara state a no-fly-zone. The President has also announced a ban on all mining activities in Zamfara state to curb the rising insecurity in the area.

This online news platform understands that the National Security Adviser, Maj Gen Babagana Monguno (rtd) disclosed this to State House correspondents on Tuesday after a five hour security council meeting presided over by President Buhari at the presidential Villa, Abuja.

The National Security Adviser said the country’s defence and intelligence organization have been put on alert and charged not to allow the country to slide into a state of anarchy.

NSA Monguno also said the president, in the meeting, gave a marching order to the new service chiefs to reclaim all areas under the control by bandits, insurgents and kidnappers .

“We are not going to be blackmailed. The government has the responsibility to assert its will,” Monguno said.

“Citizens can reside wherever they want to reside. Anybody who is a criminal should be brought to book.

“The president has also warned against ethnic profiling. We have had enough of chaos.

“Any individual that thinks he can cause disunity, should have a rethink.”

Meanwhile, this is coming after about 279 schoolgirls were kidnapped after gunmen invaded Government Girls Secondary School Jangebe, Talatu-Mafara LGA of the state, last Friday.

The Jangebe abductions happened a few days after 27 schoolboys were kidnapped from Government Science College, Kagara, Niger state. Captives from both incidents have regained freedom.
