FG Opens Portal To Convert HND To Degree In Just 1 Year - Apply Now!

FG has opened the portal to Convert HND to Degree in just one year.

Newsone reports that the Federal Government (FG) has introduced an innovative online program in collaboration with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) that allows Higher National Diploma (HND) holders to seamlessly upgrade their qualifications to Bachelor’s degrees.

This Nigeria News platform understands that the initiative is designed to enhance the educational progression of HND holders and provide them with the opportunity to achieve higher degrees.

In a recent statement, Mrs. Fatima Abubakar, the Head of Media Unit at NBTE, unveiled the groundbreaking one-year top-up program, which offers HND holders the chance to earn a Bachelor’s degree from accredited foreign universities. This novel approach aims to align with the technical and vocational fields covered by NBTE, ensuring that participants can select university programs that match their expertise and interests.

The application process is straightforward and easily accessible through the admission portal: https://admission.topup.nbte.gov.ng. HND holders who meet the criteria can create an account, provide details related to their HND certification, and proceed with the submission of their application. It’s crucial to choose university programs that align with NBTE’s approved fields.

Upon selecting a preferred course, applicants will have the option to choose their preferred institute for study. Detailed information about program fees and institutional profiles will be available, aiding applicants in making informed decisions about their educational journey.

Newsone Nigeria reports that once the application is submitted, the status can be tracked under the ‘my applications’ tab. Applicants can then proceed to submit the required application fee of USD 100, enabling the university to commence the admission processing. The payment tab allows applicants to download their fee receipts for reference.

Upon successful approval of admission by the chosen university, applicants can access and download their admission letters through the ‘my application’ section. This efficient process ensures that HND holders can swiftly transition to pursuing their desired Bachelor’s degree.

To take advantage of this exceptional opportunity, interested individuals should act promptly and apply through the official portal. The FG’s initiative, in partnership with NBTE, promises to transform the educational landscape for HND holders by offering a streamlined path to higher qualifications, thereby enhancing their career prospects and academic achievements.
