The Frenchman recently hinted of a return to football if the right offer comes his way.

According to ESPN, Arsene Wenger has accepted a role with the world governing body as a technical director.

Wenger, a 69-year-old football club manager, will take on the post at FIFA while he waits for a suitable offer.

The requirements of Wenger’s new position are yet to be defined but FIFA are hoping to utilise Wenger’s vast experience and knowledge.
