The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the appointment of all the 43 ministerial nominees sent to the red chamber by President Muhammdu Buhari.

Yaahoo Journalist reports that the Senate confirmed all the 43 ministerial nominees on Tuesday, July 30.

This online news medium recalls that the President sent a list of potential ministers to the Senate for screening, a situation which made the Senate postpone its annual vacation to conduct the screening of the ministers.

Yaahoo Journalist understands that the nominees were screened within five days.

While male nominees on the list answered questions thrown at them by the lawmakers, the seven women on the list were simply asked to address the upper chamber, bow and go. Former lawmakers on the list were also asked to take a bow and go.
