Newsone reports that the United Arab Emirates has declared that public holiday for the Islamic New Year (Hijri 1443) will be on Thursday, August 12.

This online news platform understands that the public holiday  was contained in a tweet by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources on Wednesday, via its verified Twitter handle @FAHR_UAE.
