Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has defected to the APC after quitting NNPP.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the governor of Kano State, northern Nigeria, Abba Yusuf, has officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress, APC, after quitting the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
This is coming barely three days after he resigned from the NNPP, citing protracted internal crises and legal disputes, which he said have weakened the party’s cohesion nationwide.

Earlier, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Jibril Ismail Falgore, his Deputy, Muhammad Butu- Butu, the Majority Leader, Lawan Hussain, and 19 other lawmakers officially defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
