How To Apply For $200 Victoria Travel Voucher In Australia

Victoria Travel Voucher application can be done here.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the first of the Andrews government’s 120,000 regional travel vouchers to help kickstart the state’s tourism industry after COVID-19 will be available today (Australian time)

Applications for the $200 vouchers were set open at 10am, with 40,000 vouchers set to be released for use in regional Victoria from December 12, 2020 to January 22, 2021.

But the voucher launch has been plagued by technology problems, with the Business Victoria website crashing due to pressure from those applying for the $200 Victoria Travel Voucher.

The $28 million Regional Travel Voucher Scheme will provide eligible Victorians an incentive to explore the state.

Up to 120,000 vouchers will be offered to Victorian residents to contribute to the costs of accommodation, tourism attractions or tours undertaken in regional Victoria, the Yarra Ranges and the Mornington Peninsula.

Victorians who receive a voucher and spend at least $400 on accommodation, attractions or tours during their stay will be eligible to receive a reimbursement of $200 on presentation of receipts.

The program works on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis and each round will close once all places have been filled for that particular round.
