The National Examination Council (NECO) on Tuesday, August 27, released results of the June/July 2019 examination.

YaahooJournalist reports that Abubakar Gana, the NECO Acting Registrar, announced this at the council’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State, northern Nigeria.

The NECO Acting Registrar said 71 percent of candidates obtained credits in English Language and Mathematics.

YaahooJournalist understands that represents an increase of 0.11 percent when compared to the June/July 2018 examination results.

“Neco releases the 2019 June/July SSCE results. Also, 71 percent of the candidates obtained five credits in subjects including English and Mathematics,” he said.

The NECO Acting Registrar said the marking of the answer scripts of the candidates took two weeks across the country and ended on Saturday, August 10.
