Investigative Journalist Reveals How Yinka Odumakin Was Poisoned
An investigative journalist has revealed how Yinka Odumakin was poisoned.
NewsOne Nigeria had reported earlier that the spokesperson of Afenifere, a pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Yinka Odumakin died on Saturday morning, April 3.
This online news platform understands Odumakin died on Saturday morning of complications from coronavirus (COVID-19) at an undisclosed treatment centre in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.
A few minutes after the news went viral, a Twitter user identified as @Okeydegeneral, who is supposedly close to Yinka Odumakin’s family tweeted: “Just got off the phone moments ago with Dr Joe Odumakin and she confirmed to me the death of her husband Yinka Odumakin.
“He died of lungs related ailment at LASU this morning. A big loss to Nigeria! Rest in peace Yinka Odumakin.”

However, barely a week after Odumakin died, a a popular Nigerian journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo, has revealed that Yinka Odunmakin was poisoned by his inner circle.
The controversial investigative journalist also revealed that his wife knows about it but decided to play along due to dirty politics.
Taking to her Twitter page, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo, revealed that the late Odumakin didn’t die of Covid-19 as widely reported in the Nigerian media but was poisoned just the same way ADF (Acting Director of Finance)
The investigative journalist tweeted: “Yinka Odumakin did not die of #Covid19. He was poisoned by people in his inner circle and his wife knows that. He had so much lack of oxygen in his last moments. Instead of launching a police investigation, they cover it sweeping it under the carpet and changing the death date.”
