2022 UTME Mock Exam Date has been announced by JAMB.

Newsone reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock examination will now hold on Saturday, April 9, 2022, and no longer on Saturday, April 16, 2022, as earlier scheduled.

This online news platform understands that the new 2022 UTME Mock Exam Date was contained in a terse statement by its Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

JAMB in the statement advised candidates who registered for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and indicated interest to sit for the optional mock examination to visit its site to print the slip.

“2022 mock exam slip printing is now available. Candidates who had registered for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and indicated interest to sit the optional mock examination are to visit https://www.jamb.gov.ng to print their mock notification slips,” the statement said.

“The 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination mock is scheduled for Saturday, April 9, 2022”, JAMB added.

Newsone Nigeria recalls that JAMB had earlier announced that no fewer than 1,837,011 candidates have been registered for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME 2022).

JAMB Registration 2022 commenced for the 2022 UTME on February 19 and ended on March 26. The examinations are scheduled to be held from May 6 to May 16.

Newsone reports that JAMB also disclosed that the cumulative sum of N238,105,700 derived from the regulated N700 service charge from the fifth week of registration had been remitted to its accredited computer-based test centers.

  • Recall that earlier in January 2022, JAMB initially announced a timetable for its activities with the registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the Direct Entry (DE) examinations expected to commence on February 12, 2022, and end in March 2022.
  • Also, in a related development, the examination body said that it had concluded plans to adopt an additional USSD code to be used by examination candidates besides the 55019 code that has been in operation since 2018 for registration and other essential services offered by the board.
  • This is seen as part of the measures by the examination body for a hitch-free 2022 UTME/DE and to ensure that there is no congestion during the registration exercise when a lot of candidates would be sending their requests through 55019 for registration and examination.
