Newsone reports that Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, June 15, 2023, appointed eight special advisers, less than two weeks after he appointed Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff, and George Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
This online news platform understands that the list of President Tinubu new appointees announced earlier today include Dele Alake, special adviser on special duties, communications and strategy; Nuhu Ribadu, special adviser on security, and Wale Edun, special adviser, monetary policies.
Others are Olu Verheijen, who was appointed special adviser on energy; Salma Ibrahim Anas, special adviser on health; Yau Darazo, special adviser, political and intergovernmental affairs; Zachaeus Adedeji, special adviser on revenue; and John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, special adviser on industry, trade and investment.
Newsone Nigeria reports that these eight persons are part of the 20 special advisers President Tinubu had asked the Nigerian Senate to approve to achieve the goals of his administration in the next four years.
