Jubril Of Sudan Resurfaces After Buhari's Speech On #EndSARS

Jubril of Sudan narrative has once again resurfaced in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that Jubril of Sudan narrative resurfaced in Nigeria a few minutes after President Muhammadu Buhari addressed Nigerians on #EndSARS protest and police brutality in Nigeria.

The President, who has on several occasions been referred to as Jubril Al-Sudani from Sudan by the leader of the Indigenous of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, addressed Nigerians on Thursday evening following the Lekki massacre of unarmed peaceful protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.

President Buhari failed to address the shooting of #EndSARS protesters by soldiers of the Nigerian Army during the speech, but rather ordered that the protests against police brutality that rocked various cities across the nation before the Lekki massacre on Tuesday should be suspended immediately.

President Buhari said: “I, therefore, call on our youths to discontinue the street protests and constructively engage government in finding solutions.

“Your voice has been heard loud and clear and we are responding,” the President.

However, furious Nigerians have since taken to Twitter, to condemn the President’s speech for lacking empathy. Some say the speech showed that President Buhari is Jubril from Sudan as alleged  by Nnamdi Kanu since here surfaced 2018 in Jerusalem, Israel.
