Justice James Omotosho has given a fresh order on Biafra activist Nnamdi Kanu‘s trial.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has been moved to the headquarters of the Department of State Services (DSS).
The trial judge, Justice James Omotosho, ordered that Kanu’s trial be moved from the Abuja Federal High Court to the DSS headquarters.
Justice Omotosho said the case was moved to the DSS headquarters to allow for the inspection of Kanu’s shipping container.
The IPOB leader reportedly used the container to smuggle a radio transmitter into Nigeria for broadcast on Radio Biafra.
Kanu is currently facing trial for terrorism due to his push for the actualization of Biafra.
