Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 626 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 626 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday evening, July 2.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 626 COVID-19 cases recorded on Thursday evening, 193 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, FCT-85 Oyo-41 Edo-38 Kwara-34 Abia-31 Ogun-29 Ondo-28 Rivers-26 Osun-21 Akwa Ibom-18 Delta-18 Enugu-15 Kaduna-13 Plateau-11 Borno-8 Bauchi-7 Adamawa-5 Gombe-4 Sokoto-1, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: 626 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-193 FCT-85 Oyo-41 Edo-38 Kwara-34 Abia-31 Ogun-29 Ondo-28 Rivers-26 Osun-21 Akwa Ibom-18 Delta-18 Enugu-15 Kaduna-13 Plateau-11 Borno-8 Bauchi-7 Adamawa-5 Gombe-4 Sokoto-1 27,110 confirmed 10,801 discharged 616 deaths,” the tweet added.


Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-seven thousand, one hundred and ten (27,110) with ten thousand, eight hundred and one (10,801) people discharged and six hundred and sixteen (616) deaths recorded so far.
