Sanwo-Olu Reopens Schools In Lagos
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reopened schools in Lagos amid coronavirus in Nigeria.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that Governor Sanwo-Olu announced Monday, August 3 as the re-opening date for schools in the state on during a briefing on Friday,
However, only SS3 and TEC3 students will resume on that day. Dates for JS3 re-opening for revision classes and examinations will be announced later.
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Lagos State on New Media, Gawat Jubril, confirmed the development in a tweet: “FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu has announced Monday August 3, 2020, for SS3 & TEC3 students ONLY. Dates for JS3 re-opening for revision classes & examinations will be announced in due course (for ONLY Day-Schooling, no Boarding activities).”
