VP Kashim Shettima has decorated the new Acting IGP Kayode Egbetokun.

Newsone reports that Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday, June 20, 2023,  decorated Kayode Egbetokun as the new acting Inspector General of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

This online news platform understands that VP Kashim Shettima performed the short ceremony in his office at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Newsone Nigeria reports that before his appointment as the new acting Inspector General of Police by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kayode Egbetokun had served as Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial city.

VP Kashim Shettima was assisted with the decoration by Egbetokun’s wife at the event that was witnessed by senior government officials, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume.
