Kwankwaso Speaks On Dumping PDP For APC

Kwankwaso has spoken on dumping PDP for APC.

Newsone Nigeria reports that a former Governor of Kano State, northern Nigeria, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has reacted to reports that he is planning to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the nation’s ruling party.

This online news platform understands that Saifullahi Hassan, media aide to Kwankwaso, told DailyTrust that the report making the rounds that Kwankwaso plans to return to the APC was false.

Hassan, who is the leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement also confirmed that he is not planning to float a new political party to challenge PDP and APC for presidency in 2023.

Meanwhile, Newsone reports that Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, the Kano State Commissioner for Rural Development, said Kwankwaso will be welcomed back to the APC if he is ready to submit to the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

“If Kwankwaso wants to come to APC, let him withdraw his red cap to come under Ganduje,” he added.
