Lagos Airport On Fire

Lagos Airport is on fire.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that a part of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, was on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, gutted by fire.

A report monitored on SaharaReporters by NewsOne Nigeria, says the fire incident at the Lagos airport  occurred at the departure hall of the Kenyan airways.

“Part of the Lagos airport was earlier gutted by fire. The Kenyan airways office at departure, that was where the fire happened.

“The airport staff around quenched the fire alongside some fire fighters from FAAN (Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria),” a source told SaharaReporters.

Meanwhile, as at press time, the cause of the fire at the Lagos airport was yet to be ascertained.
