The information reaching us is that the Npower management will soon pay the Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiaries their 3-month backlog payment. At the same time, the federal government has resumed the payment of N20,000 cash grants to social investment programmes to assist vulnerable groups which were flagged off in Anambra State on Tuesday 17th of January 2023.
The exercise was performed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, who was represented by a deputy director in the Ministry, Mr Charles Anaelo.
The resumption of payment for these components of the NSIP programme is a sign that the Npower beneficiaries will soon get their backlog payment.
A few days ago, the Npower management team said their agents will be calling all the Npower batch C1 beneficiaries with Paused Accounts to rectify issues, and asked beneficiaries affected to respond to the agents’ calls.
