This online news medium had reported earlier soldiers of the Nigerian Army opened fire on peaceful #EndSARS protesters camping at Lekki toll gate in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.
The attack on the #EndSARS protesters in its wake, left “several” protesters dead and others injured according to videos published on Twitter by eyewitnesses.
Reacting to the Lekki massacre, Imam of Peace, a strong critic of President Muhammadu Buhari whom he had in the past described as the “greatest criminal in Africa”, said the Nigerian leader is a murderer.

“I spoke to some of those in hospital. The pain of these terrible events is palpable in our towns and cities, and some losses are irreplaceable, but we can and will get justice for all of them,” Osinbajo promised in a series of tweets via his Twitter handle late Wednesday night
I spoke to some of those in hospital. The pain of these terrible events is palpable in our towns and cities, and some losses are irreplaceable, but we can and will get justice for all of them. I stand with Lagos & all other affected states in these trying times.
