Coronavirus in Nigeria has increased again with the NCDC confirming new 386 Coronavirus cases.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 386 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Saturday evening, August 1.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 386 COVID-19 cases recorded on Saturday evening, 130 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Lagos-65 Ondo-37 Osun-29 Plateau-23 Rivers-15 Enugu-14 Nasarawa-12 Bayelsa-11 Ebonyi-11 Ekiti-9 Oyo-8 Edo-8 Abia-6 Ogun-3 Katsina-3 Imo-1 Adamawa-1, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “386 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; FCT-130 Lagos-65 Ondo-37 Osun-29 Plateau-23 Rivers-15 Enugu-14 Nasarawa-12 Bayelsa-11 Ebonyi-11 Ekiti-9 Oyo-8 Edo-8 Abia-6 Ogun-3 Katsina-3 Imo-1 Adamawa-1 43,537 confirmed 20,087 discharged 883 deaths,”the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to forty-three thousand, five hundred and thirty-seven (43,537) with twenty thousand and eighty (20,087) people discharged and eight hundred and eighty-three (883) deaths recorded so far.
