Newsone Nigeria reports that Ned Fulmer is a 35-year-old American actor and YouTuber who rose to fame with Try Guys. The Try Guys, a YouTube channel dedicated to “trying” things, has over a 7.83million subscribers.
Ned Fulmer, born on June 5, 1987, is an American actor and YouTuber known for his role in the Try Guys.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, the actor is married to Ariel Fulmer and has two children named Wesly and Finn. Fulmer lives in Los Angeles with his family and graduated from Yale University.
Before becoming a content creator and actor Fulmer worked as a chemist before getting a job at BuzzFeed.
As the channel name suggests, the Try Guys basically post videos trying things like eating all of Taco Bell’s menu or testing out a labor pain simulator, per Architectural Digest.
On Tuesday, September 27, The Try Guys’ official Instagram page posted a statement regarding Fulmer.
“Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys,” the statement read.
“As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together.
“We thank you for your support as we navigate this change,” the statement concluded.
The channel’s statement did not elaborate on what sparked their internal review or what the review entailed, though Fulmer and his wife spoke out in separate social media statements shortly after the Try Guys’ announcement Tuesday.
“Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship,” Fulmer wrote. “I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel. The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus attention.”
Ariel Fulmer, to whom Ned Fulmer has been married since 2012 and shares two sons, thanked those who had reached out to her following the news.
“Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and all we request right now is that you respect our privacy for the sake of our kids,” she wrote.
The Try Guys is an American YouTube channel starring four members, including Keith Habersberger, Ned Fulmer, Zach Kornfeld, and Eugene Lee Yang.
The series first started as a part of BuzzFeed on September 12, 2014, and now has over 500 episodes and 10 seasons.
