New Emir of Kano in northern Nigeria, Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, has visited President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the newly appointed Emir of Kano visited President Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Tuesday, March 10.

This burgeoning online news platform recalls that the Kano State government led by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje had appointed the new Emir to replace dethroned Muhammad Sanusi II. The announcement was made by the Secretary to the State Government, Usman Alhaji a few hours after the removal of Sanusi II.

Meanwhile, the Kano State government on Monday, March 9, dethroned Emir Muhammad Sanusi II. Emir Sanusi’s dethronement followed the Kano State Council Executive meeting presided over by the Governor Ganduje on Monday, March 9.

A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, said Emir Sanusi’s dethronement was due to his “total disrespect to lawful instructions from the office of the governor and other lawful authorities.New Emir Of Kano Visits Buhari In Aso Rock (Photos)
