Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the reappointment of Afolabi Imoukhuede as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Job Creation.
YaahooJournalist reports that the development was disclosed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Gida Mustapha on Friday, August 23.
The appointment which begins with immediate effect will see Imoukhuede oversee the implementation and expansion of the N-Power Youth Job Creation Programme of the Federal Government across the federation, the letter said.
YaahooJournalist understands that the SSA on Job Creation will also oversee all other matters on the national job creation programmes of the Buhari administration.
Reacting to his reappointment, Imoukhuede noted that he was humbled by Buhari’s decision to reappointment him.
“One must be proud to serve his fatherland, and I am deeply humbled that the President has deemed it fit to allow me to continue this onerous responsibility of creating jobs for our teeming young population.
“I am committed to the implementation of President Buhari’s programme of job creation and youth empowerment. I thank the President for this unique opportunity,” Imoukhuede said.
