Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has made a fresh appointment for his second term in office which is tagged “Next Level.”

NewsOne Nigeria reports that President Buhari approved the appointment of Professor Lateef Ayeleru as Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the fresh appointment was made known in a statement on Friday by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.

NewsOne Nigeria learned that Professor Ayeleru appointment which took effect from January 10, 2020, was for a single term of five years.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that Professor Ayeleru, who hails from Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State, was born on February 12, 1966.

The Professor holds a PhD in African Literature/Applied Linguistics; Masters Degree in French Studies; Bachelor of Arts degree in French as well as other degrees.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that Professor Ayeleru is also a recipient and member of various scholarships, prizes, societies and fellowships from local and international organisations.

Ayeleru, a Professor of French, Applied Linguistics and African Literature, had done and supervised many research works in academia.

The Professor was a three-time head of Department of European Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, until his appointment.
