Nigeria Records 1,041 New Coronavirus Cases (Breakdown By States)
Nigeria has recorded 1,041 new coronavirus cases.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday evening, 24th December 2020, confirmed 1,041 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 81963 which includes 69651 discharged cases and 1242 deaths.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by FCT and Kaduna State, northern Nigeria.
