Nigeria Records 1,964 New Coronavirus Cases (Breakdown By States)
Nigeria has recorded 1,964 new coronavirus cases.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday evening, 21st January 2021, confirmed 1,964 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 116,655 which includes 93,646 discharged cases and 1,485 deaths.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Lagos State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by FCT and Plateau State, northern Nigeria.
