Nigeria Records 381 New COVID-19 Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 381 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 381 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday evening, May 7.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 381 COVID-19 cases recorded on Thursday evening, 183 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 55-Kano 44-Jigawa 19-Zamfara 19-Bauchi 11-Katsina 9-Borno 8-Kwara 7-Kaduna 6-Gombe 5-Ogun 4-Sokoto 3-Oyo 3-Rivers 2-Niger 1-Akwa Ibom 1-Enugu 1-Plateau, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “381 new cases of #COVID19; 183-Lagos 55-Kano 44-Jigawa 19-Zamfara 19-Bauchi 11-Katsina 9-Borno 8-Kwara 7-Kaduna 6-Gombe 5-Ogun 4-Sokoto 3-Oyo 3-Rivers 2-Niger 1-Akwa Ibom 1-Enugu 1-Plateau 3526 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 601 Deaths: 107,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to three thousand, five hundred and twenty-six (3526) with six hundred and one (601) people discharged and one hundred and seven (107) deaths recorded so far.
