Nigeria Records 436 Coronavirus Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 436 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 436 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday evening, June 21.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 436 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 169 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Oyo-52 Plateau-31 Imo-29 Kaduna-28 Ogun-23 FCT-18 Enugu-18 Bauchi-17 Bayelsa-14 Rivers-8 Osun-6 Kano-6 Edo-5 Benue-5 Adamawa-3 Borno-2 Abia-1 Ekiti-1, southwest Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “436 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-169 Oyo-52 Plateau-31 Imo-29 Kaduna-28 Ogun-23 FCT-18 Enugu-18 Bauchi-17 Bayelsa-14 Rivers-8 Osun-6 Kano-6 Edo-5 Benue-5 Adamawa-3 Borno-2 Abia-1 Ekiti-1 20,244 confirmed 6,879 discharged 518 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty thousand and two hundred and forty-four (20,244) with six thousand, eight hundred and seventy-nine (6,879) people discharged and five hundred and eighteen (518) deaths recorded so far.
