Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 490 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 490 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday evening, June 28.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 490 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 118 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Delta-84 Ebonyi-68 FCT-56 Plateau-39 Edo-29 Katsina-21 Imo-13 Ondo-12 Adamawa-11 Osun-8 Ogun-8 Rivers-6 Kano-5 Enugu-3 Bauchi-3 Akwa Ibom-3 Kogi-1 Oyo-1 Bayelsa-1, south-south Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “490 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-118 Delta-84 Ebonyi-68 FCT-56 Plateau-39 Edo-29 Katsina-21 Imo-13 Ondo-12 Adamawa-11 Osun-8 Ogun-8 Rivers-6 Kano-5 Enugu-3 Bauchi-3 Akwa Ibom-3 Kogi-1 Oyo-1 Bayelsa-1 24,567 confirmed 9,007 discharged 565 deaths,” the tweet added.
Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-four thousand, five hundred and sixty-seven (24,567) with nine thousand and seven (9,007) people discharged and five hundred and sixty-five (565) deaths recorded so far.
