Nigeria Records 566 Coronavirus Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 566 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 566 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, June 29.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 566  COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday evening, 166 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Oyo-66 Delta-53 Ebonyi-43 Plateau-34 Ondo-32 FCT-26 Ogun-25 Edo-24 Imo-15 Bayelsa-13 Benue-12 Gombe-11 Kano-11 Kaduna-11 Osun-8 Nasarawa-7 Borno-5 Katsina-2 Anambra-2, southeast Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “566 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-166 Oyo-66 Delta-53 Ebonyi-43 Plateau-34 Ondo-32 FCT-26 Ogun-25 Edo-24 Imo-15 Bayelsa-13 Benue-12 Gombe-11 Kano-11 Kaduna-11 Osun-8 Nasarawa-7 Borno-5 Katsina-2 Anambra-2 25,133 confirmed 9,402 discharged 573 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-five thousand, one hundred and thirty-three(25,133) with nine thousand, four hundred and two (9,402) people discharged and five hundred and seventy-three (573) deaths recorded so far.
